When is Stone Crab Season?
Florida Stone Crab season begins October 15 and ends on May 15.

When do you start trapping?
We set the traps on the 5th of October and start harvesting crab claws on the 15th of October.

What's a typical fishing day? By sunrise our fishermen are way off shore collecting crab claws. Each fisherman has a special color and permit number on his buoy. The traps are brought to the surface and on board the boat. Fishermen keep the stone crabs in containers  in a shaded area to avoid direct exposure to sunlight.

How many Stone Crabs on average do they catch?
From 20 to 800 pounds per boat!
